BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's tennis completed a Saturday sweep over the Lewis-Clark State Warriors at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. With the victories, Boise State improved to 4-6 overall.

The Broncos dominated on the day, winning both contests 7-0, going 6-0 in doubles and 12-0 in singles matches versus the Warriors.

Boise State clinched the victory with dominant wins on courts two, three and five, only dropping three points between the six sets. Heffernan and Ariadna Briones Ginesta won 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-0 on courts three and five, respectively, while Joana Baptista secured the victory on court two 6-0, 6-2. Nicole Discenza, Bhakti Shah and Lorelyz Marruffo rounded out the match with straight-set victories to complete the sweep.

Like match one, the Blue and Orange were dominant in singles, winning five straight matches in two sets. Ryan Kershner started the ball rolling with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles. Shah brought home the team victory with the clinching win on court four, 6-0, 6-1 over Paige Noble-Lucas. Â

MATCH ONE
The Broncos (3-6) secured the early lead over the Warriors (3-9) after pulling off two 6-0 victories on courts two and three. Pauline Ernstberger and Shauna Heffernan won the final doubles match, winning 6-3 on court one.Â
