FRESNO, Calif. – Boise State women's tennis lost against Fresno State 4-1, Friday afternoon.
The Broncos (7-11, 3-5 Mountain West) secured an early lead over the Bulldogs (9-11, 3-3 MW) after clinching the doubles point. Ana Conde Vendrell and Nicole Discenza claimed the first victory on court three, defeating Charlotte Gisclon and Hannah Pieper 6-4.
Fresno State won next on court two. Pauline Ernstberger and Shauna Heffernan claimed a victory over Misaki Kobayashi and Matilde Magrini 7-6 (3) on court one to clinch the doubles point for the Broncos.
Fresno State claimed the first four singles' victories on courts five, four, two and three to clinch the overall victory.
