Broncos to Compete in Cowgirl Classic

WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State women's golf team begins the final month of the regular season at the Cowgirl Classic, held on April 3-4 at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz. The first two rounds will be played on Wednesday and the final round is slated for Thursday.

LAST TIME ON THE LINKS: The Broncos finished 11th at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, held in Kauai, Hawaii. Leia Chung led the Blue and Orange with a 215 (-1), tying for 19th. She fired a 69 (-3) in the second round, being one of three Broncos to finish a round under par. Teal Matsueda opened the tournament with a 71 (-1) and Franca Polla notched a 71 on the final day.

PREVIOUS COWGIRL CLASSICS: Hannah Lim led Boise State with a 23rd-place finish at last year's Cowgirl Classic, securing her fourth top-25 finish in six tournaments. In 2022, Franca Polla was the tournament runner-up, shooting a 215 (-1) to notch the best finish of her career. She recorded a 67 (-5) in the second round, her career-low and the fourth-best round in school history.
