
Four Broncos Earn Academic Award

BOISE, Idaho – A quartet of Boise State softball student-athletes were named academic all-district by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), Tuesday.

Seniors Taylor Caudill and Jordyn Hutchins, junior Mykenzie Hanna and sophomore Hollie Farmer each received the honor.
Â
Caudill (3.87 GPA, international business major) was 19-13 this season with a 2.77 ERA. She led the Mountain West in complete games (15), games started (32), innings pitched (186 2/3), strikeouts (173), strikeouts per 7 innings (6.5) and wins.

She set Boise State single-season records for appearances (44) and strikeouts. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native was named All-Mountain West First Team and NFCA All-Pacific Region Second Team.

Hutchins (3.51, criminal justice) started 43 games in 2024 and batted .326. She collected 17 extra-base hits, including six home runs and 36 RBI.

Hanna (3.59, psychology) tied for the Mountain West lead and tied for 22nd nationally with 18 home runs. The home run total set a Boise State record for juniors and was tied for second in single-season school history.

Farmer (3.90, business administration) appeared in all-59 games for the Broncos, including 58 starts. She batted .308 with a .381 on-base percentage and recorded 16 extra-base hits.
