BOISE, Idaho – Boise State soccer head coach Jim Thomas announced the 2024 schedule, Friday morning.
The Broncos will play 10 of their 20 matches at the Boas Soccer Complex, beginning with regular-season opener Portland State on Friday, August 16. They will then take on Idaho State at home a week later (Aug. 23).
The squad will hit the road for the first time this season, traveling to UC Riverside (Aug. 29) as they prepare to face BYU in Provo, Utah, (Sept. 4) for just the second time in program history.
Boise State will return for a three-match homestand, facing Idaho (Sept. 8), Utah Tech (Sept. 12) and Southern Utah (Sept. 15).
The Blue and Orange will then wrap up nonconference play, traveling to face Montana (Sept. 19) and Eastern Washington (Sept. 22).
The Broncos' Mountain West slate begins on the road as they face Fresno State (Sept. 26) and San Jose State (Sept. 29). Boise State will host New Mexico (Oct. 3) before taking on last season's regular-season MW champion San Diego State (Oct. 6).
The team will travel to Colorado State (Oct. 10) and Wyoming (Oct. 13) then return to Boise for matches against Air Force (Oct. 17) and Colorado College (Oct. 20).
Boise State will take another road trip to face Nevada (Oct. 24) right before hosting its last home match of the season against UNLV (Oct. 27).
The Broncos will take their final road trip of the season to face Utah State (Oct. 31), last year's MW tournament champion.
This year's Mountain West Championship will be held in San Diego, Calif., due to San Diego State capturing the conference title in 2023. The first round will begin Nov. 3.
