Boise State Cross Country Announces 2024 Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Cross Country Head Coach Pat McCurry announced the team's 2024 schedule, Thursday. The Broncos will compete in five regular season meets, including one event in Idaho.
 
The Blue and Orange will begin its fall campaign in Bozeman, Montana, for the MSU Bobcat Twilight, Aug. 30. This is the teams first trip to Bozeman since the 1992 season.
 
The Broncos will then travel to Colfax, Washington, to compete in the Cougar Classic Sept. 13, marking Boise State's first appearance at the event.
 
For the second time in the last three years, Boise State will head to South Bend, Indiana, Oct. 4, for the Joe Piane Invitational.
 
Two weeks later on Oct. 18, the Broncos will run in the Arturo Barrios Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. This will be the team's first appearance in this meet.
 
Boise State will have runners competing one day later in the LC State Invitational in Lewiston, Idaho, Oct. 19. This will be the team's third time competing in Lewiston, and will conclude the regular season.
 
The Mountain West Championships will be hosted by Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nov. 1. In 2023, the women's team finished in second and the men placed third.
 
"We are excited to announce the first meet schedule of this new era," said McCurry. "I love the range of competitive opportunities for our student-athletes that we have put together."
 
The Broncos will look to make a second trip to Colfax, Washington, for the NCAA West Regional, Nov. 15. The team has made appearances in 12-straight regionals, dating back to 2011 when Boise State joined the MW.
 
Boise State aims to conclude its cross country season in Madison, Wisconsin, Nov. 23, at the NCAA Championships. Joe Hudson was the lone Bronco to qualify last season, finishing in 60th at the event.
