
McBride Named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Avery McBride has been named the Mountain West Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

The redshirt sophomore earned the honor for her performance against UC Riverside (Aug. 29), a 4-0 victory. McBride posted two goals and an assist for five points in the start against the Highlanders.

It marked the first two goals in her career, as well as her first-career assist.

This marks the first MW weekly award for the women's soccer team this season and the first of McBride's career.

The Broncos will return to action when they travel to Provo, Utah, for a match against BYU on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. MT.
