
Boise State Set for Spring Season Opener at Home

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State kicks off its 2025 spring season with a home contest against Weber State at Boas Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. MT.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS: The Wildcats enter the match 0-1 after losing to BYU 7-0 on Thursday, Jan. 16. Boise State trails the all-time series 19-24, but was victorious in their last matchup in 2021, improving coach Roghaar's record against the Wildcats to 8-2.
SEASON-OPENING DOMINATION: The Broncos are 13-1 in season-opening matches under head coach Beck Roghaar. Boise State defeated Idaho State 4-3 in last year's opening match.
SPRING DEBUTS: Maya Dutta, Zdena Safarova, Paula Schaefer, and Masa Viriant are set to make their spring season debuts in the Blue and Orange.
FALL SUCCESS: The fall season was highlighted by multiple tournament titles, including both the singles and doubles championships at the inaugural Mountain West Qualifier. Sophomore Zdena Safarova also became the first Bronco since 2010 to compete at the NCAA Championships.
