BOISE, Idaho – The return of the Blue Collar Classic, a visit from perennial national power Stanford and four Mountain West series highlight an 18-game home Boise State softball schedule in 2025, head coach Justin Shults announced, Monday.
Â
Season tickets are on sale now. Reserved infield sections are $100 and general admission is $75. Family plans are $250 and include four tickets. Single-game tickets and Elite Packs go on sale, Monday, January 27.
Â
The Broncos will play 22 games away from the Treasure Valley to begin the season. Boise State will travel to California, Mexico, Utah and Texas and will face Indiana (Big Ten, Feb. 14 in Puerto Vallarta), BYU (Big 12, Feb. 14 in Puerto Vallarta) and Houston (Big 12, Feb. 28 in San Antonio) prior to its home opener.
Â
Boise State hosts the Blue Collar Classic, March 6-8 entertaining Idaho State and Big 12 member Utah (twice).
Â
Seven-straight road games follow, including a battle with Big Ten foe Washington (March 10 in Pocatello, Idaho). Mountain West play begins with a three-game series at Fresno State, March 14-16.
Â
"Once again, we are playing a challenging schedule on the road in preparation for conference play," Shults said. "Our home schedule is exciting with Stanford and some tough conference opponents visiting DLP."
Â
The conference home-opening series is against Nevada, March 21-23. The Broncos will also host Colorado State (April 2 doubleheader), San Diego State (April 17-19) and Utah State (May 1-3) in conference play. The Wolf Pack, Rams and Aztecs all qualified for the conference tournament last season.
Â
Nonconference games in Boise include a three-game series with Stanford (April 11-13) and a single-game against Idaho State (April 23).
Â
The Broncos have won 251 games over the last-eight seasons, most in the Mountain West. Boise State tied the school record with 40 victories in 2022 in Shults's first year. The Broncos captured the MW regular season title in 2023 and reached the conference tournament final last spring.
