Broncos and Vandals Square Off in Exhibition Game at Idaho Central Arena

What's Next: Renewing the rivalry, Boise State will square off against Idaho in an exhibition game on Friday night at Idaho Central Arena (233 S Capital Blvd.). Airing live on KTVB 7.1 and KBOI 670 AM/93.1 FM, tip off between the Broncos and Vandals is set for 7 p.m. MT.

Success Against the Vandals: Boise State and Idaho have gone head-to-head 89 times, with the Broncos going 54-35 in those contests. Dating back to Nov. 24, 2001, the Blue and Orange have won 21 of the last 24 meetings.

Game Format: Friday's exhibition game features two, 20-minute halves which is consistent with standard men's college basketball games. Following regulation, there will be an additional 10-minute period between Boise State and Idaho.

New Faces: The 2025-26 Broncos features seven newcomers highlighted by Dylan Andrews and Drew Fielder, who transferred to Boise State from UCLA and Georgetown, respectively.

20-Win Seasons: Last season, Boise State produced a 26-11 overall record, signifying the fourth-straight season the team has won 20+ games. Under head coach Leon Rice, the Broncos have amassed 12 20-win seasons.

500: Entering the 2025-26 campaign, the Broncos have three players who've scored at least 500 points in their collegiate careers. Dominic Parolin (793), Dylan Andrews (751) and Andrew Meadow (574) have eclipsed the 500-point threshold.

THE OPPONENT: Last season, Idaho went 14-19 with an 8-11 mark in conference play. To conclude the 2024-25 campaign, the Vandals defeated Portland State in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament before losing to Montana.
