Stanley Selected 26th Overall in 2025 NBA G League Draft

BOISE, Idaho — Former Boise State forward O'Mar Stanley was selected by the Motor City Cruise with 26th overall pick in the 2025 NBA G League Draft on Saturday, Oct. 25.
 
Stanley joins the Cruise after playing four collegiate seasons with St. John's (2021-23) and Boise State (2023-25). Starting 66-of-131 games played, Stanley averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor.
 
Transferring to Boise State for his junior and senior campaigns, Stanley earned All-Mountain West Second Team honors in his first season with the Broncos. He complied 12.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 blocks while logging 26.3 minutes per game.
 
Last season, Stanley appeared in all 37 games and registered just under seven points per game. He was a key contributor to a team that advanced to the 2025 Mountain West Championship final.
 
One of the more skilled front-court players in men's college basketball, Stanley was 1-of-33 Division I forwards to total at least 900 points, 500 rebounds, 90 steals and 90 blocks while shooting at least 50 percent.
 
The NBA G League season begins on Friday, Nov. 7. Motor City opens its season at home against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
