USAFA, Colo. – Boise State received goals from Kayla Soderstrom and Sophie Schmautz to defeat Air Force 2-1, Sunday in Mountain West women's soccer action.

The Broncos improved to 4-3-6, 2-0-2 MW. Air Force fell to 3-6-2, 1-2-0 in the MW.

In the 32nd minute, Soderstrom struck for her first goal of the season and second of her career. Kenzie MacMillan and Jillian Anderson were each credited with an assist.

In the 42nd minute, Schmautz extended the Bronco lead to 2-0. Schmautz tallied her first of the season and second of her career. Francesca McGuire registered the assist on the goal.

Air Force cut the deficit to one in the 82nd minute. Ava de Leest and the Bronco defense held on to secure the win.

Boise State held a 16-11 edge in shots and a 7-5 advantage in shots on goal.
