
Polakova Set to Represent Broncos at ITA Sectional Championships

WHAT'S NEXT: After earning qualification, Tereza Polakova will travel to Seattle, Washington, to compete in the ITA Sectional Championships, Nov. 6-9.

AT STAKE: The semifinalists and two quarterfinal playoff winners will earn spots in the NCAA Singles Championship, Nov. 18-23 in Orlando, Florida. Zdena Safarova represented the Broncos at Nationals in 2024.

THE FIRST: Polakova is the first Bronco to compete in the ITA Sectional Championships. The inaugural event was held in 2024.

EARLY AND OFTEN: Polakova has recorded 11 wins so far this fall season, the most of any Bronco.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Head coach Beck Roghaar, in his 16th season at the helm, was named Mountain West and ITA Mountain Region Coach of the Year for the 2024-25 season. The former was his third conference Coach of the Year honor, while the latter marked the first regional recognition of his career, making him just the second coach in program history to earn the award. Roghaar recently signed a contract extension that will keep him with the program through the 2028 season.
