
Broncos Suffer First Loss of Season to Cougars

PULLMAN, Wash. – Boise State women's tennis suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Washington State 6-1 Sunday afternoon at Hollingbery Fieldhouse.
The Cougars (8-3) took an early 1-0 lead after securing the doubles points with wins on court one and three.
Washington State then claimed the first three singles victories at the No. 2, 3 and 1 positions, to clinch the overall team win. Ariadna Briones Ginesta earned a point for the Broncos (7-1) at the No. 5 position before the Cougars won the final singles match on court six to complete the 6-1 victory.
