
Broncos Head to Minnesota for Two Matches

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State will continue competition on the road, heading to Minnesota to face off with the Gophers at 2 p.m. on March 1, and St. Thomas at 10 a.m. on March 2.
SCOUTING THE GOPHERS: The Gophers enter the weekend with a 6-5 record and will host the Broncos for the first time in program history. This is just the fourth match between the two programs, with Boise State leading the series 2-1. The Gophers bested the Broncos last season, winning 5-2 on February 18, 2024, at BOAS Indoor Tennis Center.
SCOUTING THE TOMMIES: The Tommies enter the weekend 5-3, and will face the Broncos for the first time in program history. St. Thomas made the jump from Division III to Division I in 2021.
HOT START: Boise State is 7-1, marking the best start in Coach Beck Roghaar's 15 seasons and the best start since the 1991-92 season.
IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS: Maya Dutta and Zdena Safarova are ranked No. 87 in the ITA Division I doubles rankings.
MW PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Dutta has claimed two Mountain West Freshman of the Week awards, while Safarova has earned MW Player of the Week honors once. This marks the first time since 2021 Boise State has earned three weekly awards in a season.
