BOISE, Idaho – Luke Shields, Boise State Men's Tennis Head Coach, announced today the addition of Eyad Ezzat from Egypt for the 2025-26 campaign.
Â
"Eyad brings a lot of international experience," said Shields. "He's cool, calm, and collected as a tennis player. His tennis IQ is high, and he plays tennis in a very physical way. We are excited to have him join the team!"
Â
Ezzat is from Cairo, Egypt, and will be a freshman for the Broncos next fall. He has an International Tennis Federation (ITF) of 120 and a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 12.00. In addition, Ezzat has represented his nation in the Junior Davis Cup.
Â
He will be the second student-athlete from Egypt to play for the Boise State men's tennis team, joining Mahmoud Rezk (2000-04).
