Broncos’ Road Trip Continues at Air Force

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State women's basketball concludes its two-game road swing with an afternoon game at Air Force. The game will tip off at 1 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network, Altitude Sports and 670 KBOI AM.
WHAT'S AT STAKE:Â The Broncos (16-13, 6-10 MW) and Falcons (16-12, 6-10 MW) both enter the contest tied for seventh place in the league standings with two games remaining on the schedule. Boise State, who holds a 24-4 all-time advantage against Air Force, won the earlier matchup this season with a 66-55 victory on New Year's Day in ExtraMile Arena. Both teams are a half-game ahead of Nevada, who sits at 6-11 in the conference standings.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS:Â The Falcons are coming off a narrow 66-63 home loss to San Diego State on Wednesday. Air Force is led by the two-pronged attack of Milahnie Perry (15.5 points per game) and Madison Smith (14.7 points per game). The Falcons are known for their pesky defensive tenacity, leading the MW in steals per game (10.9), turnovers forced per game (20.1) and turnover margin (+5.9).

The program will honor Alyssa Christensen, Jayda Clark, Allie Hueckman Elodie Lalotte, Linsey Lovrovich, Abby Muse, Mackenzie Naro and Mary Kay Naro prior to the scheduled 6:30 p.m. MT tipoff against Utah State. The game will also double as a Kidney Cancer Awareness Game in honor of those who have been impacted by the disease, with fans encouraged to wear orange to the game.Â
