Broncos to Host Home Doubleheader

WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State will host a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 7, against Linfield at 11 a.m. MT, followed by College of Idaho at 5 p.m. Both matches will be held at Boas Indoor Tennis Center.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS: The Wildcats, who compete at the Division III level in the Northwest Conference, will travel from McMinnville, Ore. for their spring season debut after finishing 4-9 in the 2024 season. Boise State leads the all time matchup 4-0, having last won 6-1 on Feb. 15, 2020.
SCOUTING THE YOTES: The Yotes (0-2) will compete against the Broncos for the third consecutive season. Last time out, the Broncos bested The College of Idaho 7-0, and currently hold a 33-4 all time record against the Yotes. Roghaar remains undefeated against the Yotes with an 11-0 record.
HOT START: Boise State has started 4-0 for the first time since the 2013-14 season. The Broncos have defeated all four of their opponents 7-0, marking just the second time in program history they've started the season 4-0 with four-straight sweeps.
FRESHMEN DOMINATION: Maya Dutta, Paula Schaefer and Masa Viriant have yet to lose a set all season, boasting a combined 22-0 record in sets played.
MW PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: In two weeks of action, Maya Dutta has claimed two Mountain West Freshman of the Week awards, while Zdena Safarova has earned MW Player of the Week honors once. This marks the first time since 2021 Boise State has earned three weekly awards in a season.
