Broncos to Begin Conference Play

WHAT'S NEXT: The Boise State women's tennis team will open its conference schedule with a match against Fresno State at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 14, at BOAS Indoor Tennis Center. The Broncos will then face San Jose State at noon on Sunday, March 16, in San Jose, California.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: The Bulldogs (8-4) enter the contest on a two-game winning streak after defeating CSUN and North Texas. Fresno State leads the all-time series 18-4, having last defeated Boise State 4-1 on April 21, 2024, in Fresno, Calif.
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS: The Spartans enter the weekend with a 9-1 record and will face the Broncos after edging them 4-3 in the 2024 Mountain West Tournament. San Jose holds an 8-7 advantage in the all-time series.
CONFERENCE PREVIEW: In 2024, Boise State finished conference play 4-6, while San Jose State was 4-5 and Fresno State was 4-4. In the MW Tournament, both the Broncos and Bulldogs fell in the opening round, while the Spartans advanced to the semifinals. San Diego State was eventually crowned champions, defeating UNLV 4-2.
MW PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Dutta has earned one Mountain West Player of the Week award and three MW Freshman of the Week honors, the most conference weekly awards a single player has received in program history. Safarova has also earned MW Player of the Week honors once, marking the first time Boise State has earned five weekly awards in a season.
