INDIANAPOLIS – Boise State beach volleyball was selected as the No. 14 seed and will face No. 3 Stanford in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship, the NCAA announced during its selection show on Sunday.

The Broncos (23-11) will face off against the Cardinal on Friday, May 2 at 1 p.m. MT in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The dual will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Boise State was one of eight teams to earn an automatic qualification in the 16-team single-elimination tournament after claiming the Southland Conference crown on Friday. The Broncos defeated three-time defending champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 3-0 in the championship dual to clinch the championship.

The Broncos are one of two programs (Texas) that will be competing in the National Championship for the first time in program history. A 14 seed is also the highest seed received by a member of the SLC.

The National Championship is a three-day event that takes place from May 2-4 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The first round takes place on Friday, with the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds taking place on Saturday. The championship dual is scheduled Sunday at 8:30 a.m. MT and will be broadcast on ESPN.
