BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's Sophia Knight was recognized as a top 10 outfielder nationally, Thursday.

A sophomore, Knight checked in at No. 10 in the Softball America April Position Power Rankings. She was No. 15 in the same rankings in March.

The Broncos' leadoff hitter is tops in the nation with 78 hits and second in the NCAA, behind teammate Mykenzie Hanna with, 50 runs.

Knight is second in the country with a .527 batting average and is the only player in the NCAA averaging two-plus hits per game (2.05).
