BOISE, Idaho — Boise State and Butler have agreed to play a home-and-home series beginning in the 2025-26 season, it was announced on Wednesday.

This upcoming season, the Broncos will travel to Indianapolis and play inside Hinkle Fieldhouse on Dec. 6. Butler will visit Boise and ExtraMile Arena during the 2026-27 campaign.

December's matchup will mark the third time the Broncos and Bulldogs have faced each other, and the first on either team's home court. The two previous meetings took place at neutral sites in Orlando and Las Vegas.

Boise State dropped its first-ever meeting against Butler, 70-56, on Nov. 26, 2023 during the ESPN Events Invitational. Last season, the Broncos defeated the Bulldogs, 100-93, in the quarterfinal round of the inaugural College Basketball Crown on April 2.

In total, Boise State has played three games against current Big East teams in program history. The Broncos went head-to-head against Marquette on March 23, 2004.

Single-game tickets for the 2025-26 season will go on sale at a later date. Fans wishing to renew season tickets can contact the Boise State Athletics Ticket Office at 208-426-4737 until Friday, June 27.
