BOISE, Idaho – Boise State cross country and track and field head coach Pat McCurry announced on Tuesday addition of 33 student-athletes for the upcoming season.

The women's team features 14 new student-athletes, including three distance runners who will compete in cross country. The men's team welcomes 19 newcomers, with four set to run cross country.

MEN
Drew Bradeson (Reno, Nev. | Bishop Manogue High School)

Bradeson joins the Broncos from Reno, Nev. Recording three personal bests in 2025, Bradeson set benchmarks in the 400m, 800m on April 9 at the Carson League Meet in Carson City, Nev. He placed third in the 400m and was runner-up in the 800m at the Nevada State Championships as a senior.

As a junior at Post Falls (Idaho) High School, Cameron turned in nine first place finishes in the 400m including running 47.79 to win the 2024 state title.

Duggan will represent the Blue and Orange after a successful career at Newberg (Ore.) High School. He claimed the title in the 300m hurdles at the Oregon State Track and Field Championships as a senior. As a junior, he finished in the runner-up position.

Grant was named the 2025 Texas UIL 6A State Champion in the discus. He was ranked No. 10 among the US high schoolers in the discus (2025 season).

Attending Saint George's School in Spokane, Wash., Jones will be a middle distance runner for Boise State. In his senior season Jones captured first place in the 800m on four occasions. The Boise native, is an All-American, two-time academic-all conference honoree, two-time Cascade Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week and a 2x CCC All-Conference award winner in discus while also garnering CCC All-Conference honors in hammer throw.

At the 2025 Crossroads of America Invitational, she took third place in the long jump with a distance of 6.05 meters. At the 2022 Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, she recorded a distance of 11.40m in the triple jump.
Campbell Brintnall (Tualatin, Ore./ Tualatin High School)

Brintnall claimed 2025 Oregon 6A state titles in both 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles. Her 300m hurdle mark is the second fastest in Oregon state history.

With the Pioneers, she recorded a personal best in discus at the Heart of America (HAAC) Outdoor Championships (48.68m). Lotz posted a personal record in hammer throw at the Kansas Relays (59.02m). She was the 2025 NAIA National Champion in the hammer throw. Lotz is a 2x NAIA All-American in hammer throw, 2x NAIA All-American in weight throw, NAIA All-American in discus throw. She claimed Heart of America conference titles in the shot put, discus throw, hammer throw (2x), indoor shot put and weight throw.

As a senior, Marshall was named the GSHL Athlete of the Year and Distance Runner of the Year for track.

In 2024, she ranked in the top-five for the state of Arizona in javelin, shot put, hammer throw and weight throw.

She recorded a personal record in the 800m at the Altitude Running Invite (2:12.77). Washburn was the 2025 runner-up at the Colorado State Championships in the 800m.

With the Pioneers, she recorded a personal best in discus at the Heart of America (HAAC) Outdoor Championships (48.68m). Lotz posted a personal record in hammer throw at the Kansas Relays (59.02m). She was the 2025 NAIA National Champion in the hammer throw. Lotz is a 2x NAIA All-American in hammer throw, 2x NAIA All-American in weight throw, NAIA All-American in discus throw. She claimed Heart of America conference titles in the shot put, discus throw, hammer throw (2x), indoor shot put and weight throw.

Macarthur joins the Broncos after a standout career at University High School in Spokane, Wash. She recorded a personal best in shot put at the Washington State Championship Meet (46' 4"). She posted an individual record in discus at the Pasco Invite (155' 5). Macarthur was a 2x Washington state champion in both shot put and discus throw.

Following a standout career at Camas High School in Camas, Wash, Marshall will be a middle distance runner for the Broncos. She was the 2024 Washington State Runner-up (4A) in the 800m. Additionally, Marshall claimed scholar-athlete, all-league, all-region, all-state honors and was MVP for both track and cross country. As a senior, Marshall was named the GSHL Athlete of the Year and Distance Runner of the Year for track.

Roberts joins the Blue and Orange from North Forney (Texas) High School. At the Cedar Hill Opener as a senior, she recorded a personal best of 18' 10.5" in long jump. She posted another personal record at the UIL 6A Region II Championships in the 200m (24.31).

Velasquez joins the Broncos after a prominent career at Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Ariz. Velasquez was the runner-up at the 2024 AIA Division I Championships in discus while posting a third-place finish in Javelin throw. At the 2023 AIA Division I Championships she turned in a second-place finish in shot put. In 2024, she ranked in the top-five for the state of Arizona in javelin, shot put, hammer throw and weight throw.

Washburn is originally from Fort Collins, Colo., where she had a standout career at Timnath High School. Washburn turned in a personal best in the 400m of 57.35 at the Randall Hess Roughrider Invitational. She recorded a personal record in the 800m at the Altitude Running Invite (2:12.77). Washburn was the 2025 runner-up at the Colorado State Championships in the 800m.
