BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State women's tennis team opened the 2026 spring season with a 5-2 victory over Idaho State on Sunday.

The Broncos dropped the doubles point and a singles match on court four to trail 2-0 early.

Boise State began its comeback at No. 6 singles, where Stella Beldiman, competing in her first career dual match, earned the Broncos' first point with a 6-3, 6-4 victory. Allison Isaacs and Masa Virinat followed with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively, giving Boise State a 3-2 advantage.

Freshman Carla Grignac clinched the match by rallying from a first-set loss to defeat Idaho State's Sydney Morris 4-6, 6-3, 6-0. Tereza Polakova later added the Broncos' fifth point, posting a win at No. 1 singles against Millie Day, 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-4.
