Kho Captures Vault Crown, Broncos Top Two Teams at Air Force Quad

USAFA, Colo. – Sydney Kho earned the vault title as Boise State finished second in a quad meet at Air Force. The Broncos scored 194.050 to defeat Eastern Michigan (193.750) and Kent State (193.150) but were topped by the Falcons (195.225).
 
Kho's career-high 9.825 boosted the Broncos to a meet-high 48.750 on vault, the night's final rotation. This marks the senior's first event win of the year and second of her career. Sophomore Bridget Kemp tied for fourth on the apparatus with a 9.775, tying her top score of the season. Freshman Lexi Caffall and sophomore Noelle Ball both scored 9.725 on the apparatus.
 
The Broncos opened on bars with a 48.375. Senior Kylee Hamby tied for second at 9.800, her third-straight meet earning the team's top score. She was backed by Ball and Kristina Shchennikova, who each posted a 9.700.
 
Two freshmen paced Boise State on beam, where the Blue and Orange scored 48.550. Miraya Nero recorded a 9.775 to lead the Broncos for the second meet in a row and Isabella Delarosa notched a 9.750 in her collegiate debut. Shchennikova added a 9.725 for the Broncos.
 
Fifth year Blake Pascal was Boise State's top performer on floor for the third-consecutive meet, notching a 9.825 to tie for third. She has scored 9.800 or higher in every meet this season. The Broncos recorded a 48.375 on the apparatus to jump into second place before the vault rotation.
