Boise, Idaho — Boise State entered Week Three riding momentum after back-to-back sweeps, but the matchup with Michigan State delivered exactly what it promised: a tightly contested series that went the distance. The Broncos and Spartans traded control throughout the night, with every game decided by slim margins before Michigan State ultimately pulled out the 3–2 victory in a five-game battle.

Game 1

The series opened as a physical, possession-heavy grind, with both teams fighting for control in the midfield.

Cade Hall provided Boise State's lone goal, adding five shots and three demos, while Emiliano Flores contributed on both ends of the field with six shots and four saves. Michigan State answered through Morveu and Nock, who combined for both goals while anchoring a defensive effort that produced seven saves to secure the opener.

Game 2

Boise State responded with an overtime win to even the series.

Emiliano Flores delivered the game-winner and finished with two goals on five shots, as the Broncos capitalized on pressure late. Michigan State leaned heavily into a physical approach, with Opp_bomb and Nock combining for six demos, but Nock's lone goal wasn't enough to swing the result.

Game 3

Michigan State reclaimed control in another narrow 2–1 contest to move to match point.

Boise State's defense held firm with five total saves across the roster, but Opp_bomb and Nock again combined for both Spartan goals to give Michigan State the edge.

Game 4

The Broncos answered immediately, forcing a deciding Game 5 with another 2–1 win.

Preston Ferrante scored both Boise State goals, while Cade Hall provided two assists to fuel the offense. Michigan State spent much of the game in defensive posture, combining for seven saves to stay close, but Boise State's sustained pressure carried the map.

Game 5

The decider delivered a fitting finish.

Both teams traded chances until the final moments, when Michigan State broke through to secure the series. Boise State produced its strongest offensive output of the night with 13 shots in the final game, as Hall and Flores combined for two goals and seven shots. For Michigan State, Nock proved decisive with two goals, three saves, and two demos, while Morveu added six saves and two assists to close the series.
