Broncos Travel to San Diego

Boise State (4-2) travels to Southern California for the second straight week...Broncos will take part in a tournament co-hosted by UC San Diego and San Diego.

Last Week
After dropping its season opener at Loyola Marymount, Boise State went 4-1 at the Easton Classic hosted by Cal State Fullerton...tournament included a 3-2 win over then No. 14 Mississippi and a 4-1 (8) victory against defending Big West champion Cal State Fullerton.

Boise State's 3-2 win over No. 14 Mississippi, Feb. 6 marked the highest-ranked opponent the Broncos have defeated all-time...Boise State set a school record with 16 runs in an inning (seventh) against CSUN, Feb. 7...sophomore Chloe Hughes became the first Bronco to reach base three times in an inning...tied school records for hits (22) and doubles (seven) against the Matadors.

TRIPLE PLAY
Against No. 14 Mississippi, Feb. 6, Boise State recorded a triple play in the sixth inning (first in school history)...Hollie Farmer fielded a ground ball at third base, stepped on the bag and threw across the diamond to Kate Penberthy at first for the second out...Penberthy then threw to second baseman Skylar Stroh who tagged out the runner from first.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE
Boise State has scored 46 runs this season...tallied 37 runs in the fifth inning or later...Broncos have scored 20 times with two outs in an inning.
