Boise State Unveils 2026 Outdoor Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State track and field head coach Pat McCurry announced the Broncos' 2026 outdoor schedule, highlighted by a meet in Boise for the second consecutive season with the Ed Jacoby Twilight.

The Blue & Orange will open the season at the Nighthawks Opener on March 14 in Nampa, Idaho, for the second straight year.
Â
Boise State will then have split squads competing at the UNLV Rebel Elite (April 3-4) in Las Vegas, the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (April 2-4) in San Francisco, and the Stanford Invitational (April 3-4) in Palo Alto, California.

Another split weekend awaits the Broncos the following week, with competitions at the Texas A&M 44 Farms Team Invitational (April 9-11) in College Station, Texas, and the NNU Open on April 11 in Nampa.

For the fifth consecutive season, Boise State will travel to Azusa, Calif., for the Bryan Clay Invitational from April 16-18.

April will conclude in Boise for the second straight year with the Ed Jacoby Twilight on April 24 at the Ed Jacoby Track at Dona Larsen Park. The meet is named after legendary coach Ed Jacoby, who led the Broncos for 23 seasons from 1973-96.

The final two regular-season meets are scheduled for May 2 at the Desert Heat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona, and the Portland Twilight in Portland, Oregon on May 9.

The 2026 Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held May 14-16 in Fresno, California, followed by the NCAA West Region Prelims from May 27-30 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships are slated for June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon. Boise State had three individuals qualify for the meet in 2025.
