Broncos Notch Season-Best on Beam at Metroplex Challenge

FORT WORTH, Texas – Miraya Nero and Kristina Shchennikova scored 9.900 on beam to lead Boise State to a season-high 49.125 on the apparatus, as the Broncos finished with a team score of 194.825 at the Metroplex Challenge. Boise State placed fourth at the meet behind No. 13 North Carolina (196.375), No. 21 NC State (196.100) and No. 17 Auburn (196.075).

The Broncos started the night on floor, posting a 48.475. Sophomore Delaney Reeves had the team's highest-score for the second-straight meet, notching a 9.800. Another sophomore, Bridget Kemp, matched her season-high with a 9.775.

Boise State followed with a 48.600 on vault, led by freshman Miraya Nero, who notched a career-best 9.850 to tie for second. It marks the Broncos' top individual vault score of the 2026 campaign. The Blue and Orange added a 48.625 on bars in the third rotation, with Shchennikova leading the way at 9.800. She was backed by senior Kylee Hamby, who closed the lineup with a 9.775.
