Boise State Scores Season-High on Bars in Logan

LOGAN, Utah – Boise State recorded a season-high 49.050 on bars in the opening rotation, finishing with a team score of 194.950 in Friday night's dual at Utah State. The Aggies topped the Broncos with a score of 196.350, their highest of the season. Miraya Nero was the all-around champion, posting a 39.000.
Boise State opened with its season-best performance on bars, scoring 49.050. Junior Mahleea Werline led the way with a season-best 9.850, tying for fourth. Junior Carly Buell and sophomore Noelle Ball tallied season-highs at 9.825 each, with junior Kristina Shchennikova adding a 9.825 of her own.
The Broncos tallied a 48.725 on vault, with freshman Miraya Nero leading the way for the second-straight meet. She tied for second with a 9.800 and was backed by sophomore Bridget Kemp, who matched her season-best at 9.775.
In the third rotation, the Blue and Orange posted a 48.850 on floor. Fifth year Blake Pascal notched a team-best 9.825, while Kemp (9.800) and Shchennikova (9.775) added season-best routines.
Boise State closed the night with a 48.325 on beam, led by senior Sydney Kho and freshman Sydnie Whipple, who each posted a 9.800. Nero and Shchennikova both tallied a 9.775.
