Robertson Earns MW Weekly Honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Kaiya Robertson was named the Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Women's Athlete of the Week following a record-breaking performance at the UW Invitational and Mile City on Jan. 30 and 31.

Robertson competed in the 800 meters and invitational mile, finishing first and third, respectively. She posted a time of 4:28.93 in the mile, improving her own Boise State program record while also setting a MW indoor track record and a Canadian U23 national record, pending ratification.

In the 800m, Robertson ran a time of 2:05.15, moving from fifth to fourth on the program's all-time list and earning an event win in a field of 82 runners.

The weekly award is the second of Robertson's career and the first of her indoor career. She was named MW Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week in May 2025.
