FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Marissa Gonzalez and Mya Flindt hit back-to-back home runs in the second inning and Boise State defeated Charlotte 6-3 at the Wooo Pig Classic, Sunday.

The long balls came in a three-run third inning and helped the Broncos (9-12) stop a five-game slide.

Skylar Stroh extended the lead to 4-0 with an RBI-single in the fourth. After the 49ers (12-10) scored three times in their half of the fourth, Boise State responded with an insurance run in the fifth and another in the seventh
