Broncos Earn Conference Road Victory

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Boise State women's tennis team opened its conference schedule with a 4-0 sweep of Colorado State on Friday.

The Broncos (9-2) took the early lead in doubles. Stella Beldiman and Paula Schaefer won 6-4 on court two, while Carla Grignac and Lorelyz Marruffo won 6-4 on court three to give the Broncos a 1-0 advantage.

Boise State built on its lead in singles, winning all three matches in straight sets. Allison Isaacs earned a dominant 6-3, 6-1 win over the Ram's (4-8) Leyla Tozin, shortly before Zdena Sfarova won at the top singles spot 7-5, 6-0.

Paula Schaefer delivered the match-clinching point on court five, topping Logan Voeks 6-2, 7-5.
