Three Broncos Named to All-Mountain West Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three Broncos earned All-Mountain West men's tennis honors, the conference announced Tuesday.

Stewart Aronson, Carson Baker and Avery Tallakson were all named to the All-MW Singles team, while Baker and Tallakson also earned All-MW Doubles recognition as a pair.

Boise State's three All-MW Singles selections are tied with Utah State for the most by any team this season and mark the program's second-consecutive year with three honorees.

Aronson collected the first all-conference honor of his career after posting a 12-8 record in dual play. Competing primarily at the No. 2 position, he went 7-3 and recorded four match-clinching victories. His season also included a ranked win over No. 99 Sebastian Sec of Princeton.

Baker, who primarily plays at the No. 3 spot, finished 10-7 in dual matches with four match-clinching wins. He suffered just two losses in conference play and earned his second career All-MW Singles honor.

Tallakson went 8-4 at the No. 1 position and 11-6 overall. The junior was named MW Player of the Week on March 18 after posting a combined 6-1 record in singles and doubles across four matches. This is his first career All-MW honor.

In doubles, Baker and Tallakson went 14-6 together, all at the No. 1 position. The duo recorded two ranked wins, highlighted by a victory over No. 27 Luca Bluett and John Kim of Santa Clara, and lost just once in conference play.
