Eight Track & Field Broncos Awarded CSC Academic All-District Honors

BOISE, Idaho - Eight Boise State track & field student-athletes received academic all-district honors, the Collegiate Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
Six members of the women's program (Bianca Boehnke, Emily Jobes, Abby Kendrick, Amit Koma, Victoria Lotz, and Kaiya Robertson), and two members of the men's program (Brian Kiprotich and Alex Thompson) earned the award.
The all-district award is presented to student-athletes that perform at an elite standard in both the classroom and on their respective field of play. To qualify, athletes had to place in the top 50 at the 2025 NCAA West Regional in cross country or hold a top-50 regional ranking in a single track and field event. Additionally, all student-athletes are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.Â
Boehnke finished the year as a physics major with a GPA of 3.96. The Waiblingen, Germany native competed in the 5000 at the Outdoor NCAA West First Round following a sixth-place finish in the 2026 Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field ChampionshipsÂ
Jobes sported a 3.639 cumulative GPA as a psychology major, and was one of just four Broncos representing at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships. The Bethleham, Pennsylvania native earned the distinction for the second-straight year.
Kendrick earned the distinction for the second consecutive season, compiling a 3.964 GPA as a health studies major. A year after qualifying for the NCAA West First Round, the Missoula, Montana native earned honorable-mention All-America honors with a 21st-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships.Â
Koma earned the honor for the first time in her career, accumulating a 3.719 GPA as a kinesiology major. She finished in the top 10 at all three MW Championships, including a fourth-place finish in outdoor 10000 meter, seventh for the indoor 5000 meter, and an eighth-place finish in cross country.
Lotz garnered a 4.0 GPA as a project management major. She finished third in the hammer throw at the MW Championships and earned a spot at the NCAA West First Round.
Robertson, who earned a perfect 4.0 while pursuing a degree in health studies, earned the CSC distinction for the third consecutive year. In the indoor season, she finished 14th in the mile to earn second-team All-America honors. In the outdoor season, Robertson ran a career-best in the 1500 meter (4:09.17) at the NCAA West First Round to earn a spot at the national championships. There, she finished 17th and took home honorable-mention All-America honors for the second-straight season. She was also presented the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete Award, becoming the third Bronco to receive the recognition.
Kiprotich has been recognized by the CSC in each of the past two seasons. The distance-runner appeared in eight different meets this season while posting personal bests in all three of his events (1500, 5000, and 10000 meter). Kiprotich recorded a pair of top five finishes at the MW Championships (cross country; outdoor) and competed at the NCAA West First Round. He earned a 3.78 GPA as a health studies major.
Thompson, an economics major with a 3.756 GPA from Skipton, England, was the 1500 meter champion at the MW Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 4:03.72. Thompson notched this honor for the second time in his career.
