COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State track & field athlete Kaiya Robertson has been selected as the 2025-26 Mountain West Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference announced Tuesday.

This recognition marks the sixth time a Bronco has earned the MW Scholar-Athlete Award, and the first since Courtney Blackson (gymnastics) did so following the 2023-24 year. This is the third time a Boise State track & field athlete has been named the MW Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the previous two being Kendra Noneman (2019-20) and Allie Ostrander (2018-19).

To be eligible for the distinction, student-athletes need to have exhausted their eligibility in all varsity sports they participated in, have earned a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher, and have demonstrated athletic excellence in their respective sport over the course of their career.

In addition to Robertson's academic and athletic achievements, the MW will grant her a $2,500 postgraduate scholarship.

Robertson wrapped up her career as a Bronco with a decorated resume. She was a five-time individual MW champion, three-time All-MW selection in cross country, four-time All-MW honoree in indoor and a two-time All-MW selection in outdoor. With a 4.0 GPA in health studies, Robertson closed her time at Boise State as a two-time All-American in both indoor and outdoor track & field.
