Men's Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team and Six Scholar-Athlete Awards

BOISE, Idaho –  Boise State men's tennis was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as an All-Academic Team, Monday.Â
Stewart Aronson, Carson Baker, Julius Seifert, Michael Seversen, Filip Soderqvist and Avery Tallakson were among six Broncos recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.Â
To be eligible for ITA Scholar-Athlete, players must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 or higher in the 2025-26 academic year. As a team, they achieved an average GPA of 3.43 to earn this accolade.Â
This marks the first time each athlete has earned this honor, and the first time since 2022 for the team to be recognized on the All-Academic Team list.Â
Freshman Filip Soderqvist recorded a team-high GPA of 3.88.Â
The ITA awarded 1,008 Division I Men's student-athletes and 162 All-Academic Team men's tennis programs.Â
