Beach Earns AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Boise State beach volleyball earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Honor Roll distinction, the organization announced on Thursday.
The recognition is given to beach volleyball programs that represent the top 20% of GPAs nationally. The Broncos have garnered the honor for the fourth time over the last six seasons, having previously been recognized in 2021, 2022 and 2025.
In addition, Boise State earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the eighth consecutive season, and nine of the last 10 seasons. To be listed as an award recipient, the entire roster must combine to maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA for the entire academic year. For the 2025-26 academic year, Boise State accumulated a 3.71 GPA.
The award adds to a list of academic distinctions the program has earned. Last month, Allyson Alden, Avery Allen, Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.

Additionally, nine Broncos (Alden, Allen, Anderson, Avery Bowidowicz, Charlee Ellena, Addison Moss, Lily Patock, Wolden and Elli Wolthuis) were recognized as members of the 2026 Big 12 Spring Academic Team.
