WHAT'S NEXT
Boise State opens the 2026 season at home against CSUN on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT at the Boas Soccer Complex.

SCOUTING THE MATADORS
CSUN begins its 2026 regular season Wednesday after hosting Trinity Western in an exhibition on Aug. 6. The Matadors finished 8-7-5 overall and 6-1-3 in Big West play last season. Wednesday's matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs.

Boise State enters the match riding a program-record 14-match unbeaten streak, starting on Sept. 11, 2025. The Broncos hold the longest active unbeaten streak in the nation, followed by Quinnipiac with 13. Reigning national champion Florida State sits tied for third with UNC Wilmington and Miami (OH), posting 10-consecutive matches without a loss.

SEASON-OPENER SUCCESS
Boise State is unbeaten in its last eight season openers, posting a 5-0-3 record during that span. The Broncos have also won each of their last two home openers.

Boise State has been dominant at home, going unbeaten in its last eight matches. The Broncos have posted an impressive 21-5-6 record at the Boas Soccer Complex over the past three seasons.

DOUBLE-DIGIT WINS
The Broncos have recorded at least 10 victories in each of the past three seasons. Under head coach Jim Thomas, Boise State has reached the 10-win mark eight times.

BIG GOALS
The Broncos return 62.1% of their scoring production from last season. Leading the returning scorers is Jillian Anderson, who recorded five goals last year.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Three Broncos earned spots on the United Soccer Coaches Watch List. Ava de Leest was one of just 20 goalkeepers selected nationwide, the only Pac-12 goalkeeper recognized and one of only three sophomores on the list. Defender Kaitlyn Slocum also received the honor, earning recognition as one of 40 defenders selected nationally and one of just three Pac-12 defenders to make the watch list. Midfielder Jillian Anderson notched the honor as one of 45 nationally and one of four in the conference.

LOCAL PRODUCT
Freshman Campbell Wilson, a native of Meridian, Idaho, was named Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year in both 2024-25 and 2025-26.
