Jillian Anderson Selected to United Soccer Coaches Midfielder Watch List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Boise State junior midfielder Jillian Anderson has earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Midfielder Watch List, the organization announced Friday. Anderson is one of 45 midfielders across the country recognized ahead of the 2026 season.

Anderson is one of four Pac-12 midfielders included on the list, joining Texas State's Helen Alormenu, Colorado State's Mia Casey and Gonzaga's Amelia Severn. She also becomes the third Bronco selected to a United Soccer Coaches positional watch list this preseason, alongside goalkeeper Ava de Leest and defender Kaitlyn Slocum, who were recognized on July 31 and Aug. 3, respectively.

Boise State is one of just five programs nationwide with representatives on all three positional watch lists, joining Memphis, Portland, South Alabama and Wisconsin.

A native of Allen, Texas, Anderson enters the season after a standout 2025 campaign that saw her collect United Soccer Coaches All-Pacific Region second team honors in addition to All-Mountain West second team recognition.

Last season, Anderson made 20 appearances with 18 starts, totaling five goals and three assists for 13 points. She matched career highs with two goals and four points in Boise State's win at San Diego State on Oct. 16, 2025, including the match-winning goal. Anderson also found the back of the net against the Aztecs in the Mountain West Championship semifinal on Nov. 5, 2025.

The midfielder watch list is one of several positional watch lists released by United Soccer Coaches ahead of the 2026 season. The complete watch lists will be announced Aug. 12.
