Broncos Welcome Bears for Senior Night

WHAT'S NEXT
Boise State will welcome Northern Colorado to its home pitch on Friday, Sept. 25 for senior night. Kickoff at Boas Soccer Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT and will be streamed live on the Pac-12 YouTube.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Northern Colorado enters Friday's matchup with a 3-4-2 record, most recently recording a 5-0 loss to Pac-12 foe San Diego State on Sept. 20. The Bears have earned wins over Colorado State (2-1), Air Force (2-1) and UC Riverside (1-0). Boise State leads the all-time series 2-1-1 and will host Northern Colorado for the first time since the 2009 season.

WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN
Boise State has won its last five matches, the longest active winning streak in the Pac-12 and the fourth-longest in the NCAA. It is also the longest current unbeaten streak in the conference.

FRESHMAN STUD
Campbell Wilson has tallied 18 points this season, the second-most among freshmen nationwide, trailing only Kentucky's Kyla Dawn, who has 20. Wilson's 18 points also rank 15th in the NCAA. The freshman also ranks ninth in match-winning goals (3) and 10th nationally in assists (6).

HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE
The Broncos have gone unbeaten at home in their last 12 matches, the longest home unbeaten streak in program history. The streak dates back to Sept. 11, 2025.

CLEAN SHEETS
Boise State has recorded six shutouts so far this season, the most in the Pac-12. A seventh would be the program record for most shutouts in a single nonconference season.

NOT SO FAST
Boise State has only allowed four goals through its first eight matches, the fewest in the Pac-12. Four goals allowed also matches the program record through the nonconference slate, set in 2019.

ON TARGET
The Broncos rank 16th in the NCAA in shot accuracy at .552, the highest mark in the Pac-12. The team also averages 9.44 shots on goal per game to lead the Pac-12 and rank fifth nationally.

GOOD THINGS COME IN PAIRS
Sophie Schmautz and Wilson have each recorded a multi-goal match this season. Boise State is tied for the most players in the Pac-12 with a multi-goal performance, joining Gonzaga (Amelia Severn and Samantha Snorsky), Texas State (Victoria Meza and Helen Alormenu) and Utah State (Summer Diamond and Samantha Sellers) with two players apiece.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Boise State has been dominant at home, going unbeaten in its last 12 matches. The Broncos have posted an impressive 25-5-6 record at the Boas Soccer Complex over the past three seasons.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wilson has collected four Pac-12 Newcomer of the Week honors. The freshman is the first Bronco in program history to earn three-consecutive conference weekly accolades in any category (offensive, defensive or freshman of the week).

IN THE RANKINGS
In the latest United Soccer Coaches regional poll, released Sept. 22, Boise State ranked ninth in the Pacific Region. Utah State ranked 19th in the national poll, followed by Texas State at 24.

DOUBLE-DIGIT WINS
The Broncos have recorded at least 10 victories in each of the past three seasons. Under head coach Jim Thomas, Boise State has reached the 10-win mark eight times.

ON A ROLL
Boise State's program-record unbeaten streak came to an end at 17 matches following a 2-0 loss to Texas Tech on Aug. 23. The streak began Sept. 11, 2025, and was the longest active unbeaten streak in the nation at the time.

BIG DEBUT
Wilson scored twice against CSUN on Aug. 12, becoming the first Bronco to score two goals in her collegiate debut since Shannon Saxton in 2007. Wilson followed with another goal against Weber State on Aug. 16, becoming the first Boise State freshman to score in consecutive matches since Aubree Chatterton in 2017.

GOAL AFTER GOAL
Boise State has scored seven goals through its first two matches, marking its most to start a season since 2008.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Three Broncos earned spots on the United Soccer Coaches Watch List. Ava de Leest was one of just 20 goalkeepers selected nationwide, the only Pac-12 goalkeeper recognized and one of only three sophomores on the list. Defender Kaitlyn Slocum also received the honor, earning recognition as one of 40 defenders selected nationally and one of just three Pac-12 defenders to make the watch list. Midfielder Jillian Anderson notched the honor as one of 45 nationally and one of four in the conference.

CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
De Leest, Madie Donovan and Sophie Schmautz each earned a spot on the Pac-12 Preseason Impact List.

LOCAL PRODUCT
Wilson, a native of Meridian, Idaho, was named Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year in both 2024-25 and 2025-26.

BRONCOS IN THE USLW
Four Broncos competed in the USL W League this summer. Olivia Collins played for FC Olympia, Donovan for Sioux Falls City FC, Hayden Rallo for Bigfoot FC and Slocum for Minnesota Aurora.

HEAD COACH SUCCESS
Head coach Jim Thomas ranks second among current Pac-12 head coaches in wins at their current institution. Thomas owns a 147-79-49 record over 14 seasons at Boise State, trailing only San Diego State's Mike Friesen, who has 210 wins in 20 seasons.

ABOUT THE BRONCOS
Boise State enters the 2026 season as the two-time defending Mountain West regular season champion. Goalkeeper de Leest returns after earning 2025 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and first team All-Mountain West honors. Jillian Anderson and Slocum also return after receiving second team All-Mountain West recognition, while Donovan earned Mountain West All-Newcomer Team and All-Tournament Team honors in 2025.
