2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY- Saw action at three meets . . . Raced cross country for the first time in over a year at the Sundodger Invitational, running 23:31.70 for 6k (Sept. 8) . . . Appeared at the Charles Bowles Invitational, running 18:49.6 for 5k (Sept. 29) . . . Appeared at the Inland Empire Championships (Oct. 13) . . . INDOOR- Opened the season with a 3:11.31 in the 1000m at the Ed Jacoby Invitational and Multis (Jan. 18-19) . . . Ran 10:54.38 for 3000m at the Jacksons/Nike Boise Indoor Invite (Feb. 1-2) . . . 2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Redshirt season . . .INDOOR- Competed in both the mile and 3000m at the Mountain West Championships (Feb. 22-24) . . . Ran a personal best of 10:14.64 for 3,000m at the UW Invitational (Jan. 26-27) . . . Opened the season with a runner-up finish in the 3,000m (10:50.89) at the Jacksons Open (Dec. 9) . . . Ran 5:19.85 for the mile at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20) . . . OUTDOOR- Began to transition towards the distance events during the outdoor season . . . Ran a personal best of 17:53.76 at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19-20) . . . Competed in the 1,500m twice, with her season best of 4:49.87 coming at the SF State Distance Carnival (March 30-31) . . . Took 10th in the 1,500m at the Border Clash (April 27-28).

2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY - Competed in two races in her debut collegiate cross country season…opened her collegiate career at the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Cross Country Invitational and logged a top-50 finish (48th – 19:30.97)…ran at the Roy Griak Invitational, clocked a 25:44.2 on the 6K course...INDOOR – Showed solid improvement throughout her indoor season…started off with a 5:55.85 in the mile for second place at the Ed Jacoby Invitational…shaved the time down dramatically two weeks later at the UW Invitational, clocking a 5:09.51 for a season PR…13th in the 800m at the Jacksons/NB Indoor Invitational, running a 2:23.83…tried her hand in a 3k at the Boise State Challenge and took second (10:32.94)…picked up good experience at the conference championships, taking 20th in the mile with a 5:29.31…OUTDOOR – Opened the outdoor slate at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival where she clocked a season-best 4:41.60 in the 1,500m…22nd in the 1,500m (4:58.33) at the Sun Angel Classic...logged a pair of top-10 finishes at the Border Clash, taking eighth in the 800m (2:25.56) and fifth in the 1,500m (4:45.90)…posted a 4:58.06 in the 1,500m at the outdoor conference championships to take 14th.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Emily DeMarco comes to the West Coast after claiming two divisional outdoor state championships in her home state of Massachusetts, winning the mile in 2014 and the two mile in 2015. She took third place at the 2016 Massachusetts Cross Country State Championship and concluded her four years at Ipswich High School with five school records. She was named Cape Ann League Runner of the Year twice and won five league titles over the course of her prep career.
