2021-22: CROSS COUNTRY- Competed in two races…made his Boise State debut at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (Sept. 23)…placed 30th in the men’s B race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational (Oct. 15)…INDOOR- Raced in five meets…opened the season in Boston, Mass., at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener (Dec. 4), competing in the men’s 5,000m race…clocked PR times in the 3,000m (8:15.68) and 5,000m races (14:11.24)...at the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships (Feb. 24-26), finished ninth in the 5,000m and 16th in the 3,000m…OUTDOOR- Competed in four meets…recorded a personal-best time of 29:52.29 in the men’s 10,000m at the 62nd Annual Mt. SAC Relays (April 13-16)...earned top-15 finishes in the 5,000m and 10,000m races at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 11-14).

Underwood joins the Broncos after competing for the Bulldogs from 2016-21. CROSS COUNTRY- Made his collegiate debut at the 2016 Memphis Twilight Classic…shattered his previous personal best in the 8k at the Falcon Classic in 2018 and improved on that mark the following meet at the Greater Louisville Classic … ran the 10k at the 2018 NCAA South Region Championships. INDOOR- Posted his best times in the 3000m and 5000m during his final indoor season with the Bulldogs…came in 16th in the 3000m (8:19.20) at the Razorback Invitational and 18th in the 5000m at the Music City Challenge (14:33.02)...placed 16th in the 5000m at the SEC Championships. OUTDOOR- Placed second in the 3000m at the 2019 Southern Miss Open with a time of 8:35.35, notching the fourth-fastest time in school history…set three PR’s in his final outdoor season with the Bulldogs and ran to a 13th-place finish in the 10,000m and 22nd-place finish in the 5000m at 2021 SEC Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Ran cross country and track at East Central High School…three-time state champion, winning a cross country title and the outdoor 1600m and 3200m senior year…finished the 1600m in 4:40.25 for a 13-second victory and won the 3200m by almost 32 seconds in a time of 10:03.1…named the Sun Herald’s Player of the Week for his performance.
