BOISE STATE CAREER
2020-21: OUTDOOR - Made season debut in the 10,000-meter invite at the Hayward Premiere (April 2-3)...won the 10,000-meter with a time of 32:43.7 which is good enough fourth in program history...set a personal best in the 5,000m at the Oregon Relays (April 23-24) finishing second...competed in the 5,000m and 10,000m at the Mountain West Championships (May 13-15)...finished third in the 10,000m with a time of 33:50.81, closed sixth in the 5,000m...qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries (May 26-29) in the 5,000m and 10,000m...finished 10th in the 10,000m with a time of 33:52.17 to earn a spot at the National Championships...secured the last qualifying spot in the 5,000m, finishing 12th with a time of 16:05.53...turned in a solid performance at the NCAA D1 National Championships (June 9-12) earning first-team All-American honors in both the 5,000m and 10,000m...her best finish came in the 10,000m clocking a personal best 32:36.96, good enough for sixth...after a stumble early in the 5,000m, she climbed back to score an eighth-place finish with a time of 15:44.44.

2019-20: CROSS COUNTRY – Opened the season as a top finisher for the Broncos in the Bill Dellinger Invitational (Sept. 29) closing eighth with a time of 20:02.0…for the second-straight meet, she led the Broncos snagging a top-50 finish the Nuttycombe Invitational (Oct. 18)…logged a top-20 finish at the Mountain West Championships (Nov. 1)…secures a 25th place finish at the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 15)…ran at the NCAA Nationals (Nov. 23)...INDOOR – Did not compete…OUTDOOR – Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.

2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY- Appeared at five meets on the season, scoring in four . . . Was the runner-up at the Sundodger Invitational for the highest finish of her career, finishing in 20:26.60 for 6k in the Boise State win (Sept. 8) . . . Finished in the top 10 at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational – one of three Boise State runners to do so – placing 10th in 19:58.4 (Sept. 28) . . . Placed in the top 10 as Boise State’s No. 4 runner at the Mountain West Championship. Took eighth (20:51.3) to earn second-team all-conference honors (Oct. 26) . . . Finished in the top 10 for the fourth-straight time on the season, placing sixth (19:33.8) for the first all-region honors of her career as Boise State’s No. 2 runner at the West Region Championships (Nov. 9) . . . Took 161st (21:32.7) as the team’s sixth runner at the NCAA National Championships (Nov. 17) . . . INDOOR- Took 11th, fourth collegian, in the invitational section of the 3000m, running 9:11.48 (Jan. 25-26) . . . notched a top 10 finish in the 5000m at the Husky Classic, running 15:51.57  to take ninth (Feb. 8) . . . was seventh at the conference championship in the 3000m, running 9:39.27 (Feb. 21-23) . . . OUTDOOR- Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in both the 5,000-meter and the 10,000-meter for the second-straight season, while appearing in four meets . . . finished 15th in the 10,000-meter (34:15.78) in Sacramento after rallying from a mid-race fall. Ran 16:34.54 for the 5,000-meter (May 23-25) . . . took second in the 10,000-meter (34:17.56) and fourth in the 5,000-meter (16:15.88) at the Mountain West Championships to score 13 points and earn All-Mountain West honors in the former event (May 8-11) . . . was second in the 10,000-meter at the Bryan Clay Invite in 33:39.43 (April 17-19) . . . made her season debut at the Stanford Invite, running an outdoor personal best of 15:48.56 (March 29-30).

2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Followed up her breakout freshman season as a consistent presence for the Broncos as a sophomore . . . No. 3 runner for the team at the NCAA Championships, finishing 77th in her first NCAA cross country experience (Nov. 18) . . . three spots shy of All-Region honors at the West Region Championships, running 20:21.8 for a 28th-place finish (Nov. 11) . . . finished 25th at the Mountain West Championship (Oct. 27) . . . No. 3 runner at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational (Oct. 13) and Greater Louisville Classic (Sept. 30), finishing 56th and 18th, respectively . . . INDOOR- Reached the NCAA Indoor National Championships for the first time in her career, qualifying in the 5,000m. Took 14th in the 5,000m in 16:23.66 for second-team All-America honors (March 9-10) . . . was a scorer in both the 3,000m and 5,000m at the conference championships. Took fourth in the 3,000m in 9:35.07, while finishing with runner-up honors in the 5,000m (Feb. 22-24) . . .  posted a new personal best and the second best time in the 5,000m in school history by running it in 15:42.60 and placing sixth at the Husky Classic. Her time is the fastest indoor 5,000m ever run by an Australian woman (Feb. 9-10) . . . took fourth in the 3,000m, top NCAA athlete, at the UW Invitational, running 9:12.28 (Jan. 26-27) . . . set a new personal best of 4:56.39 in the mile at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) to win that event. Also ran the 1,600m leg of the Boise State ‘White’ DMR that weekend . . . OUTDOOR- Continued the impressive start to her career with a strong sophomore season . . .earned Second-Team All-America honors after placing 12th in the 10,000m at the NCAA Championships with a time of 33:34.18 (June 6-9) . . . qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in both the 5,000m and 10,000m. Established a new 10,000m personal best of 32:39.30 while placing ninth in that event (May 24-26) . . . earned All-Mountain West honors in the 10,000m after placing third with a time of 34:00.33 (May 9-12) . . . opened the season with a fourth-place finish in the 5,000m at the Stanford Invitational (March 30-31) . . . Ran a new personal best for the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19-20), running 4:26.82 . . . also appeared at the Border Clash (April 27-28).

2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY - Enjoyed a sensational freshman season…was named the Mountain West Women’s Freshman of the Year, along with also being named second-team All-Mountain West…started off her collegiate career with a runner-up finish at the Sagebrush Invitational (5K), clocking a time of 17:38.15…was the Broncos’ No. 4 finisher at the Roy Griak Invitational, running a 22:36.6 for 38th…earned a top-100 finish at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, clocking a 21:21.8 for 95th place…her conference accolades came after she took 12th thanks to a 20:56.4 on the 6-kilometer course at the conference championships…was 43rd at the NCAA West Regional, crossing the line in 20:35.1 as the Broncos’ No. 3 finisher...INDOOR – Was one of the top-two performers on the women’s team in the indoor season…won the 3,000m title at the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships, clocking a 9:24.75 – the fastest 3k time at the conference championship in the league’s history…also helped the DMR team win the conference title with a 11:19.39…was just shy of qualifying to nationals in the 3,000m…her 9:09.01 at the Husky Classic in the 3,000m makes her the second-fastest Bronco in school history in the event…logged another exceptional 3k performance two weeks earlier at the UW Invitational, clocking a 9:21.76 for 10th place…kicked off the year at the Ed Jacoby Invitational and posted a 4:58.02 in the mile to win the event…OUTDOOR – Put together a phenomenal outdoor season that culminated in an All-America honorable mention honor in the 5,000m (16:06.08) after taking 17th place at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships…qualified ahead to nationals after earning the last 5k spot in the west region thanks to a 16:41.62 for 12th place at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships…took fifth in the 5,000m at the conference championships with a 16:43.45 and posted a 37:21.72 in the 10k to place ninth…logged some solid speed work at the Bryan Clay Invitational, posting a 4:27.08 in the 1,500m…opened the year with her eventual qualifying time in the 5k at the Stanford Invitational, crossing the line in 15:57.36.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Clare O'Brien will enter her collegiate career with having recently won the Queensland U20/Open 4K and 8K Cross Country Championships earlier this year. She ran a 13:54 on her way to winning the 4K and a 28:15 to secure the 8K title.  O'Brien just competed in the Gold Coast Southern Cross University 10K run and finished in fifth (34:32). She also won the Bridge to Brisbane title in 2014. Her personal-best 3,000m time is 9:34.90 and her best 1,500m time is 4:33.54.
