Nikonorova comes to Boise State from the University of Ontario where she competed on both the cross country and track and field teams. Nikonorova placed fifth at the 2011 Junior Canadian Championships in the 3,000m and first at the 2011 Ontario Championships in the 5,000m. She placed seventh in the 2012 Ottawa Physio Race in the 5k and took 45th in the 2012 CIS Cross Country Championships.
