2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY- Toed the starting line twice on the season . . . Made his season debut at the Charles Bowles Invitational, running 25:35.0 for 8k (Sept. 29) . . . Made an appearance at the Inland Empire Championships, running 25:29 (Oct. 13).
2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Finished in the top 25 at both meets he competed in . . . Was fourth at the Charles Bowles Invitational in his Boise State cross country debut, running 25:06.2 (Sept. 30) . . . Was 25th at the Inland Empire Challenge (Oct. 14) . . . INDOOR- Had a successful sophomore season for the Blue and Orange, competing in six meets and setting personal bests in the 800m, mile and 3,000m . . . Competed in the mile, 3,000m and distance medley relay at the Mountain West Championships. Opened the weekend by running the 800m leg of Boise State’s DMR. Set a personal best of 8:44.12 in the 3,000m while also running in the trials of the mile (Feb. 22-24) . . .Won the second section of the mile in a personal best 4:08.84, continuing a streak of meets with setting a new personal best at the UW Invitational (Jan. 26-27) . . . Opened the season with a new personal best of 4:15.71 in the mile to win the Jacksons Open (Dec. 9) . . . Eclipsed that personal best with a 4:10.34 to finish third in the mile at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) . . . took fifth in the 800m in a personal best 1:55.85 at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20) . . . OUTDOOR- Had a breakout sophomore season, setting personal bests in three events . . . Scored two points with a seventh-place finish in the 1,500m at the Mountain West Championships (May 9-12). Also set a personal best of 14:57.38 in the 5,000m that same weekend . . . Set a new personal best of 3:47.40 in the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 19-20) . . . Finished 12th in the 800m at the Sun Angel Classic (April 5-7), running a personal best of 1:53.59 . . . Opened the season at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, running the 1,500m and the 4x400 (March 30-31) . . . Took third in the 800m at the Border Clash (April 27-28).
2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY – Did not compete…INDOOR – Logged race time in six different meets in the indoor season…started his career at the Jacksons Open and took third in the mile (4:27.10)…competed in the 1,000m at the Ed Jacoby Invitational and took third thanks to a 2:38.86, and also helped the DMR team clock a 10:17.85…third in the mile at the Bronco Invitational courtesy of a career-best 4:22.16…posted another career-best time, recording a 1:59.10 in the 800m to take 12th at the Jacksons/NB Boise Indoor Invite…second in the mile (4:22.97) at the Boise State Challenge…17th at the league championships in the mile (4:22.97)…OUTDOOR – Competed in three meets…was eighth in the 1,500m (4:05.91) at the Border Clash and 12th in the 800m (2:01.28)…ran his 800m PR of 2:00.03 at the Sun Angel Classic…clocked his 1,500m PR in the season-opening meet – San Francisco State Distance Carnival (3:58.45).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Ty Jordan capped off an undefeated senior cross country season at Chugiak High School by winning the 2015 Alaska Cross Country State Championship. He moved on to the track and field season and won the 1,600m state title thanks to a 4:15.78, good for the second-fastest 1,600m time of his career. He was also unbeaten in the 1,600m his senior season, accumulating eight victories. Jordan set five school records over the course of his prep career, most notably in the 1,600m (4:15) and 1,500m (3:59).
