Deontrae Cooper joined Boise State's football staff as a recruiting assistant in March 2022.
Cooper spent the last two seasons at Colorado as a recruiting assistant and running backs analyst. He was on staff at UC Davis from 2018-19 as a wide receiver assistant and offensive quality control coach and helped the Aggies win the 2018 Big Sky title.
He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant (2016) at his alma mater, Colorado State-Pueblo, where he was a member of the 2014 Division II national champions as a player. Cooper was a wide receiver coach and graduate assistant at West Texas A&M in 2017.
