Chris Nichol joined the Boise State Athletic Academic Services Department during the 2013-14 academic year on a temporary basis, then returned in spring 2015 to continue his role as the director of tutoring and team advisor for student-athletes.
Chris is from the Chicago, Ill., area and received his undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from Holy Cross College (Notre Dame, Ind.). He then completed his master's degree in Counseling at Michigan State University.
Following his graduate studies, Chris was an academic advisor at Michigan State for three years in the College of Communications Arts and Sciences as an academic advisor.
He moved to Boise and began his career as an Advising Coordinator at Boise State before working in the athletic department. Chris has worked at Boise State since 2011 with stops in the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs, as well as, the College of Business and Economics.
Chris lives in Boise with his children Jack, Keira, Emmet, and Quinn.
