HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Borah High School for head coach Cary Cada...in final two seasons led Lions to a combined 50-2 record and back-to-back Idaho 5A State Championships (2012 and 2013)...averaged 14 points per game as a senior in 2012-13 as Borah finished 25-1 and repeated as state champions...named to 5A All-State First Team and was selected honorable mention All-Idaho by USA Today...chosen for 2013 Idaho State High School All-Star Game...went on two-year mission following high school...father Craig was a two-year letterwinner for the Bronco basketball team from 1984-86...Craig was first three-point threat in Boise State history...before NCAA adopted three-point line in 1986-87, Big Sky implemented arc for conference games in 1982-83...Craig Spjute shot 45-of-109 from three-point line in his career, making 45 of Boise State's 88 three-pointers during his two seasons.
