Nate Lowery rejoined the Boise State athletic department in 2022, returning as an associate director of athletic media relations. A two-time graduate of Boise State, he previously worked with the Broncos as a graduate assistant from 2017-19 and handled the media relations efforts for the Broncos’ softball, women’s golf, and cross country and track and field programs.
Lowery rejoined Boise State from Stanford, where he served as an assistant director of communications from December 2020 to July 2022. In that role he served as the secondary media relations contact for Stanford’s football program, and also worked with women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and softball during his time with the Cardinal.
Before his stint at Stanford, he worked as a strategic communications assistant at Missouri, working with men’s basketball, women’s soccer and softball.
While completing his undergraduate degree in English, with an emphasis in teaching, Lowery spent two years as a student assistant in the Broncos' media relations office. In that role, he spent time working directly with the women's golf and wrestling programs.
Lowery graduated with his bachelor's degree from Boise State in 2017, and his master's in athletic leadership in 2019.
